Service Description: Transportation infrastructure layers for New Jersey. This service includes road data published by the NJ Office of GIS (NJOGIS). The road data is in a schema designed to harmonize with standards for NextGen 911.

Comments: Transportation infrastructure layers for New Jersey. This service includes multiple layers with different feature types and data sources. This service now includes the latest release of road data published by the NJ Office of GIS (NJOGIS.) The new road data is in a new schema designed to harmonize with standards for NextGen 911. Road layer in the old schema is retained in this service temporarily but has been marked DEPRECATED. Users should switch to the new layer as soon as possible. Note to service users who incorporate service layer(s) into an application or published live map: The NJ Office of GIS, as publisher, would like to provide early notification of service changes that may affect the application or map. To do this, we need the name of the service layer(s) in use, name of application or map, and contact information for it, both technical steward(s) and business owner(s). In particular, please send email addresses for these parties, including any group email.
